Westerlies Fest 2019 - Coming Oct. 1-6

Combining collaborative evening performances with daytime in-school concerts and a weekend creative music workshop, Seattle-bred, New York-based brass quartet The Westerlies created Westerlies Fest to engage students and audiences in Seattle and surrounding underserved areas to give back to the city that raised them. Concerts

Nightly performances featuring The Westerlies and an eclectic lineup of guest artists and collaborators.

Workshop

A two-day weekend workshop for students of all instruments and experience levels. The Westerlies will share their unique approach to composition, improvisation, and ensemble practice, culminating in student ensemble performances on Sunday afternoon. 


Community

A core element of Westerlies Fest is the educational and community engagement activities in the greater Seattle area, featuring interactive performances in public schools, collaborations with local students, and free community concerts.
